ETA, which stands for Euskadi Ta Askatasuna, is a separatist group from the Basque Country. This organization was founded in 1959, with the aim of establishing an independent Basque state. ETA has been involved in numerous violent activities, including bombings and assassinations, in an attempt to achieve their political goals. Over the years, their actions have caused widespread fear and instability in the region. Nevertheless, ETA officially declared the end of its armed campaign in 2011, and since then, they have been focused on a peaceful resolution through the political process. The Basque separatist movement remains a complex and contentious issue, with ongoing efforts to address the historical grievances and aspirations of the Basque people.

The Basque culture is rich and diverse, with a unique blend of history, language, and traditions. The Basques are an indigenous ethnic group who inhabit the regions of Spain and France. They have managed to preserve their distinct identity and language, which is unrelated to any other in the world. The Basque language, called Euskara, is considered one of the oldest languages in Europe, making it a crucial part of their cultural heritage. The Basques also take great pride in their traditional dances, music, and sports. They are known for their vibrant festivals, such as the famous Running of the Bulls in Pamplona. Additionally, Basque cuisine is renowned for its delicious pintxos (small snacks) and seafood dishes. The Basque culture is a fascinating tapestry of ancient customs and contemporary influences, making it a truly unique and vibrant part of the world's cultural mosaic.
